Kearney Housing Agency Receives HUD Grant to Promote Low-Income Family Self-Sufficiency

OMAHA, NE - July 17, 2009 - (RealEstateRama) -- The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development today awarded $67,821 in grants to one public housing agency in Nebraska. These agencies will use this funding to connect public housing residents with education, job training, employment services and homeownership counseling available in the local community to promote self-sufficiency.

At these events, awards were presented to the Top Producers and Shining Stars. Top Producer awards are given to the top ten loan officers who originate the most NIFA loans for first-time homebuyers in Nebraska in 2015.
