Omaha, NE – May 15, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — Mercy Housing Midwest is proud to participate in this year’s Omaha Gives Day, a 24 hour charitable challenge organized by the Omaha Community Foundation. The online giving holiday will take place May 20 from midnight to midnight and is designed to raise as much money as possible for local nonprofits. It is a community-wide event to show off Omaha’s spirit of giving, raise awareness about local nonprofits, and celebrate the collective effort it takes to make Omaha great.

Mark your calendars because we need your help! By directing your donation to Mercy Housing Midwest on May 20, 2015, you will help provide safe, quality, service-enriched housing to thousands of Nebraskans. Mercy Housing Midwest provides affordable housing to 1,364 people with low to moderate incomes, including families, seniors, and people with special needs.

“Omaha Gives Day is a great way for people to invest in their own communities,” said Jane Graf, CEO of Mercy Housing Inc. “Nebraskans have a real opportunity to help their neighbors and make a real difference.”

Mercy Housing Midwest has five properties in Nebraska, two of which are located in Omaha, and provides services that give residents a stable foundation to achieve their dreams.
