New Homeless Program Created With Stimulus Funds

Lincoln, NE - November 23, 2009 - (RealEstateRama) -- Mayor Chris Beutler today announced that a new program has been created with about $1.4 million to help the homeless and near-homeless in Lincoln. The Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP).

WASHINGTON, DC - July 09, 2009 - (RealEstateRama) -- U.S. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan today awarded a $7,871,814 grant to 3 grantees in Nebraska to rapidly re-house families who fall into homelessness, or prevent them from becoming homeless in the first place.

At these events, awards were presented to the Top Producers and Shining Stars. Top Producer awards are given to the top ten loan officers who originate the most NIFA loans for first-time homebuyers in Nebraska in 2015.
