Work on Building to Cause Lane Closure on Havelock Avenue

-

WASHINGTON, D.C. – October 13, 2016 – (RealEstateRama) — The eastbound lane of Havelock Avenue will be closed from 61st to 62nd streets until at least October 20 for work on the building at 6117 Havelock Avenue. The City Building and Safety Department has declared the brick façade of the building to be dangerous, and a contractor has been hired to remove the brick material from the building face.

During the closure, local access to residential and business properties will be maintained. Eastbound drivers are encouraged to use Touzalin Avenue, Fremont Street and 70th Street to reach their destinations. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to drive with additional caution.

The Building and Safety Department appreciates the public’s patience during this activity. For more information, visit lincoln.ne.gov (keyword: projects) or contact Chad Blahak at cblahak (at) lincoln.ne (dot) gov or 402-441-7521
