The Annual Tax Credit Compliance Seminar sponsored by Nebraska Investment Finance Authority (NIFA) and Midwest Housing Equity Group (MHEG), will be held Thursday, May 8, 2008, and Friday, May 9, 2008, at The Cornhusker Marriott Hotel, 333 S. 13th Street, Lincoln, NE 68508.

This year our featured speaker is Michael Kotin, CPA, principal and Vice President of Kay-Kay Realty Corp., an Arizona-based property management company specializing in low-income housing tax credit properties. Mike is a certified instructor in real estate and teaches classes in Section 8 procedures, the Fair Housing Act, leasing, LIHTC compliance and management techniques. Mike travels extensively and is a regular speaker and contributor to IPED, IREM, NCSHA, NAHB, MultiHousing World and other industry groups. He is the author of LIHTC On-Site Compliance Manual, which is currently in it fifth printing. Mike holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business (1983) and twin BA degrees in Economics and Business from the University of Chicago (1981). He lives in Scottsdale with his wife Nina, daughter Lindsay and son Justin.
